Ellie had a fun birthday. She had a pancake breakfast in the morning, A little nap, and then family came over for a party.
Ellie was a bit timid with her cake at first, but eventually decided "It was good" and was covered from head to toe in frosting in no time!
We love you so much Ellie. I can't imagine our lives without you. You bring joy to all of us!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLIE! We love you too! Wow! I was just telling Nathan how quickly time has gone since she was born. Last year when you had her & we found out, we were at a resturant getting dinner. Oh yeah, Thank you for sendingme pictures of her with her bows! They look super cute in her hair! Glad to see they are wokring for you! I will have to send you some of the new "tiny bows" I have started to make for a little girl in our ward that has less hair then Ellie! Love ya!
Wow- I can't believe she is already 1. At least we got to meet her before her first birthday. I love that her middle name is Valentine....
I can not believe it. We miss you guys so much. Seeing Ellie's birthday pictures really made me miss you guys and being around to be at parties and family things. Ellie's hair is so long and I can not believe she is walking.
